One month after Departure

It has been a great month for my music, so I will just take a moment to celebrate how my last song release went. Isn’t this what Facebook is all about – shameless self indulgence spiced up with some random real-life facts?

Anyway, my last song, Departure did really well in its first month

· It was played more than 30.000 times on Spotify, way more than any of my other songs were played during their first month of release.
· It was added to a Major editorial Spotify playlist “Nordic Folk”
· It has been played on at least 11 radio stations in Brazil and in Munich, Germany, and maybe other places as well – the song was sent to 800 radio stations in the US (maybe some of them picked it up as well).
· Rumors has it that Pope Francis withdrew from the Way of the Cross ceremony to listen to Departure one more time.

On Friday I will release yet another song, but you (and Pope Francis) can still listen to the Departure as many times as you like. Isn’t that exciting?
