A Summer Day In April is a naïve love story with the endless summer of 2023 as an apocalyptic backdrop. It is a classic girl meets boy story, but it is the things that are happening in the background that is the real story. The couple in front – in love their bubble – are unaware of the climate changes around them.
The story is also the first in a row of 7 songs that are all interconnected. I found it very liberating to write a continuous story (even though there are some weird twists and turns along the way) and I am excited to present the story to you as I release the songs. The song is featuring the amazing Argentinian singer Camila Castellani who I worked very closely with on all my new songs.

As has become a habit of mine I have made the video all on my own – this time with a little help from my friend Kristjan Møller who guided me through the horrors of Adobe After Effects.
