A Summer Day in April

I am happy to announce that my first single (A Summer Day in April) in a couple of years has been released today on all major platforms. After a few fairly intense albums with a lot of instrumentals and working with a lot of different people I felt it was time to try something different. First and probably most importantly I am not singing lead on any of the songs of the coming album – instead I have found an amazing Argentinian singer, Camila Castelani. It wasn’t a big decision as such – I have been looking for female singers to sing my songs for years, but the problem has always been that they didn’t really interpret the stories that I wrote. I have also turned towards a more acoustic style of music with a latin touch. I guess you could say that the songs have a slightly more carefree and summerly feel than most of my previous songs without being bland.

First song out is “A Summer Day in April”. A naive love story with the endless summer of 2023 (not in Denmark though, here it was raining) as an apocalyptic backdrop. 

I will be releasing a new song every 6 weeks or so (I am still not finished with the entire album) and release the full album some time during the summer of 2024.
